We collect information you provide directly to us when you:

• Create an account (name, email address, password)
• Build or run workflows (workflow definitions, tool configurations, run history)
• Contact us for support

We also automatically collect certain usage data when you interact with Pipecat, including IP address, browser type, pages visited, and feature usage events (via PostHog analytics).

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide, operate, and improve the Pipecat platform
• Send transactional emails (account verification, billing receipts)
• Respond to support requests
• Monitor service health and prevent abuse
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal data to third parties.

Your data is stored on Neon (PostgreSQL) hosted on cloud infrastructure. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production data is restricted to authorized team members only.

We use cookies and local storage to maintain your session. We use PostHog for product analytics — this collects anonymized usage events to help us understand how the product is used. You can opt out of analytics tracking by contacting us.

Pipecat integrates with the following third-party services:

• Neon — database hosting
• Razorpay — payment processing (we never store raw card or UPI details)
• PostHog — product analytics
• OpenAI / Anthropic / Google — LLM inference (your prompts and inputs may be sent to these providers when you run workflows)

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing us. Workflow run logs are automatically purged after 90 days on the free plan and 1 year on paid plans.

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you
• Correct inaccurate data
• Request deletion of your data
• Object to or restrict processing
• Export your data in a portable format

Pipecat is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe we have done so, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email. Continued use of the service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
