Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Pipecat ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use the Service. These terms apply to all users, including free and paid accounts.
2. Description of Service
Pipecat is a visual AI agent workflow builder that allows users to create, run, and deploy AI pipelines via a web interface and REST API. The Service is provided on an "as-is" basis and may be modified or discontinued at any time.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access at srinathreddy239@gmail.com.
You may not share account credentials, create accounts for others without authorization, or use automated means to create accounts.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to use the Service to:
- Violate any applicable law or regulation
- Generate, distribute, or promote harmful, illegal, abusive, or deceptive content
- Conduct denial-of-service attacks or attempt to bypass rate limits
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or replicate the Service without permission
- Infringe on the intellectual property rights of others
- Use the Service to build a competing product without prior written consent
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without notice.
5. Billing and Payments
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually at the start of each billing period. Payments are collected via Razorpay. All fees are non-refundable except where required by law. We may change pricing with 30 days notice. Failure to pay will result in downgrade to the free plan.
Free plan usage is subject to the limits described on the pricing page and may be changed at any time.
6. Intellectual Property
Pipecat and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by the Pipecat team and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain full ownership of the workflows, tools, and content you create using the Service. By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host and execute your workflows solely to provide the Service to you.
7. Third-Party LLM Services
Pipecat routes workflow execution through third-party LLM providers (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, etc.). Your use of those providers is subject to their respective terms of service. We are not responsible for the outputs, availability, or pricing of those services.
8. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Pipecat and its team shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Pipecat and its team from any claims, damages, or expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from your use of the Service, your violation of these terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
11. Termination
You may close your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your account for any violation of these terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain your data for a reasonable period before deletion.
12. Changes to Terms
We may revise these terms at any time. We will notify registered users of material changes via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, including the Information Technology Act, 2000 and rules made thereunder. Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
